Magnets and Pie

Last weekend we took Sydney to the farmer's market. We love going there in the summer and looking at all the flowers, fresh fruit, and vendor stands. We usually get breakfast and spend the morning there, and it's something we look forward to every year. Sydney had a great time. She is so observant these days and loves to point out everything she sees. She goes crazy if she sees a dog (as long as it doesn't get too close) and she points at all the other babies in their strollers.

While we were there, some of the little shops were open and we found a cute little toy store. We bought some magnets for the fridge and Sydney loves them! Every morning when I'm making her breakfast she plays with them. What a find! We'll have to go back next week and get some more!




On Tuesday we went to Marie Callender's with Matt, Melissa, and Madison. Sydney decided that she would like to feed herself and she helped herself to some of Chris' pie! She has really been getting into feeding herself with a spoon, which is surprising to us because she doesn't really like to do things for herself! Some people call her mellow, we call her lazy, but she prefers to have things done for her! For some reason, though, she's into feeding herself with a spoon and we let her, even though it makes a mess!
