Can I just say how thankful and blessed I am to have a daughter? Especially a daughter like Sydney? She is so much fun and I was just born to have a girl! All the pink, the frills, the tea parties, it is so much fun! Not to say that I wouldn't have as much fun with a boy, but I am thankful that I get to experience this part of parenting, too. Sydney is becoming more of a girly-girl each day. She loves to have her hair done and as she gets older and her hair gets longer, we can do more with it. Everyday she wants to have some sort of ponies or clip in her hair, and we usually have to curl it and hairspray it, too. It makes her look so much older to have her hair up!

Today's hair was especially cute. This is the before picture, with her bun ponies..jpg)
Then when we took out the ponies, this is what we got!
She had lots of fun looking in the mirror at her big hair! She just stood there and played with her hair like she was 16!

Hey! Jilly has those pajamas!!!
And about the hair thing . . . I am jealous!! Jilly has had hair FOREVER and to this day, just the mention of pretties and she is in "Nooooooooo!" Hysterics. :( I keep hoping she'll grow out of it but I'm thinking not. Worst part about it is that now she's getting mad at her hair (rather funny to watch) because it's in her face but she still refuses to let us do anything with it!! Argh!!!!
I'm going to see if I can get her to sit still long enough tomorrow morning to get a french braid in for Easter Egg hunting. We'll see.
It is amazing how much body that girl gets. Girls are so much fun!
Ella is the same way. She was supposed to be napping yesterday and we heard her playing in her room. When we went up there, she had her stool, standing in front of her mirror fluffing the sides of her hair! I can only imagine what is to come :P
If you feel like playing (plaiting) with Sidney's hair, check this out: http://annamariahorner.blogspot.com/2009/04/friday-plait-time.html

Yikes! I only had a boy and mostly his hair was in a buzz cut. Easy peasy.
