Hello, fans. I know I am dreadfully behind on my posting, I apologize. Life has still been crazy, but I do have tons of pictures from Easter on to post on here, plus my American Idol predictions. I will post them soon, hopefully this week, but first I have the best news! My best friend Melissa finally had her twins last night! Micah John was born at 8:43, 5lbs 9oz, 18in, and Mason Russell was born at 8:46, 5lbs 14oz, 18 3/4in. They are both healthy and Melissa sailed through labor like a champ. She said it was actually easier than giving birth the first time. We were all worried she would need a C-Section since Mason was head up, but Micah came through first head down and they were able to extract Mason feet first. We went to see them this morning and it was so special! It was just 2.5 years ago that we were on our way home from the hospital with Sydney and we stopped to see Madison. In case you don't remember, the girls were born one day apart. Here is the first picture of Sydney and Madison together, and then a few of all of the kids. I can't believe Melissa has 3 children!.jpg)

I found myself surprisingly emotional yesterday while Melissa was in labor. The last time she was in labor I was recovering from my own, and while I thought about her then, it was different. The physical pain of my own recovery along with trying to figure out how to take care of one-day-old Sydney was first on my mind, while in the back of my mind I was thinking of Melissa and her delivery. This time, I was at home with nothing to do but worry. God be praised that she has three healthy children and that she is recovering well!

I love how someone is holding the baby next to Sydney and she is trying to get as far away as possible!! Hopefully Madison will teach her how to not be "all done" with the new babies :)
sweet pictures! Melissa looks wonderful and I love that Madison is already so in love with those boys. :)
