5 Months

Savannah turned 5 months old on Wednesday. Where has the time gone? It's flying by! She is so much fun and the last month has been nice because we have solidified a really nice routine. I am a huge believer in schedules and it's really nice when it all just comes together with naps, feedings, and Sydney's activities. Here is her 5 month picture...

Such a sweetie. At 5 months, Savannah takes three and sometimes four naps per day. She sleeps most of the night but is still up once to nurse. Try as I might, I just can't get her to drop that middle of the night feeding! We have been working with her to take rice cereal this last month, which she has been sort of ok with. Most of it ends up on her bib, until yesterday when we added some pureed pears and VOILA! She loved it! She was smacking her lips and kicking her legs and opening up her mouth wide like a bird for more, I even had to make her seconds! She is growing taller and getting more leg rolls all the time. She is generally pretty happy and a joy to have around. I thank God daily for both my babies!
