Decorations, Part 1

Melissa and I have spent almost the entire last year thinking about decorations for the girls' birthday party. It was really fun to embrace the Christmas theme. Melissa suggested going with the red and lime-y green and I'm really happy with how it turned out. It was traditional Christmas with a little bit of a twist. We made some original craft decorations and we used some really cute pieces that Melissa makes for her business. For this post, I'm going to show the decorations from Melissa's business. First off, we had really cute gift boxes. I was so happy with how the Chinese boxes turned out for Savannah's first birthday that I was really excited to use them again for Sydney's party.

I LOVE those boxes with the ribbon tied on it like that! It's so cute and bright! Also on this table was one of the centerpieces. This was so cute and so easy. I just filled with vase with the holiday M&M's, stuck in the centerpiece sticks, and voila, super cute! On the cake table, we also used a centerpiece. Melissa added ribbon in our colors and it makes it so cute!

To welcome the guests into the party room, we hung a party sign on the door. The ornament in the center was on the banner and on the invitations, too.

I love the "Happy Birthday" banners!

The banner is so cute with the polka dot balloons, also sold in Melissa's store. I love how well it all looks together.

I'll post a picture soon, but I took this banner home and hung it up in our kitchen to celebrate Sydney's birthday at home, too. She loves it hanging up where she can see it every day. More pics to come tomorrow!
