V-Day Decoration

I got this idea from Melissa for this cute little decoration. She found it on Pinterest, which is my latest obsession, and we're both doing it in our houses this year.


I love those little mailboxes! A whopping $1.00 each, hot glued onto crystal candlesticks Chris and I got for a wedding present (don't worry, the hot glue peels right off and no crystal was harmed in the making of this project). I actually had a hard time at first using my wedding present candlesticks. Then, I realized it would bring the grand total of use for them to a whopping one. This is the season of life I'm in, not the candlelit dinner for two season, so it's appropriate to use them now. And again, the hot glue peels right off so they aren't damaged at all and I think they make it really pretty.


I love the apothecary jar of kisses, too, makes it a little more cutesy. And who doesn't love a kiss, chocolate or otherwise?
