Kindergarten

Sydney started kindergarten this morning and I couldn't be prouder...of myself.  I didn't cry at all!

Well, yesterday I did cry just a little bit, but this morning I totally held it together.

And if you count "holding it together" as taking a million pictures of her, including her sitting in the line of all the kinders waiting to go to the classroom while all the other mom's and dad's stood way in the back while your's truly walked right up to her and took pictures all the while embarrassing the heck out of Sydney, then yes, I held it together.

(and wouldn't you know it, not a single one of those pictures turned out)

She only rolled her eyes once at me.  Although, I think this was because she pretty much refused to make eye contact with me once I started taking all the pictures.

Anyhoo, she looked so grown up this morning and I can't believe my little bitty teeny tiny baby is already in big school.

We got to her school a little bit early so I could take some pictures of her outside.  Savannah totally wanted in on the pictures.  She's not old enough to know she should be embarrassed of me yet!
Doesn't Sydney seem like little miss future Homecoming Queen here?  I swear I can see it.  So Sydney's off to kindergarten and it's Savannah's last full year at home, next year she will start preschool.  I'm pretty sure...no, actually, I KNOW I will be crying when that day comes.
