Something you may not know about my husband is that he takes F.O.R.E.V.E.R. to get ready in the mornings. I like to rib him about it because I know that I have my annoying traits, too, but seriously, it takes him WAY longer than me to get ready. I can shower, dry and curl my hair, put on make-up, pack the diaper bag, and get both girls ready including clothes and hairbows in the time it takes Chris to get ready. That's ok. I love him to bits, so it's really alright. It's honestly the only thing about him that irks me sometimes, and that's not half bad, you know? Especially considering he does dishes and laundry and helps with the girls, so I put up with it. But, I have learned to build in a lot of extra time when getting ready just to give him some wiggle room so we're not late. Case in point: we were getting ready to go to church last weekend. The girls and I were ready. We were waiting on Chris. And waiting. And waiting. So I turned on a little Christian sing-along movie for the girls and grabbed a book for myself. This was my view:
At the very bottom of this picture you can see my knees propping up my book (Twilight). I had time to read and the girls had time to watch about half of their video before Chris was ready! Ha!
Sydney loves this little movie, and she always dances and sings right along!
Savannah came right up next to me and she just looked so cute.
This was her first time with two ponies and bows in! Such a big girl now.
