Easter Baskets

Who wouldn't want to wake up to a huge bucket full of candy and treats? I sure would, especially if they looked like this:

After the sugar wore off from all that candy and after a really nice Easter brunch, we decided to take the girls to the park. Chris and I made it a goal to visit all the parks in our city, there are 25, by the end of summer. We went to the one that was the farthest away and was still only about 10 minutes away.

Isn't she adorable? Don't let that happy face fool you. She was a WRECK at the park (well, pretty much she was a wreck all day) and while we were there I noticed a small amount of goo coming out of her ear. I know that's super gross, but I'm all about keeping it real. The ear goo plus the non-stop crying plus the gunky nose and cough prompted us to take her to the urgent care and sure enough, ear infection.

Sydney was totally pumped to go to the park! We had to leave early because of Savannah and she was so good about it, no whining or complaining. She is showing maturity more and more these days. I love that little sweater vest on her, it's so Chandler Bing, don't you think?

Hey Dara--it is our goal to visit all the Hillsboro parks this summer too. We did pretty well last summer, maybe half of them. Dena
