Miscellany Monday

(For some reason, I can't get blogger to space these out so it looks like one huge paragraph. Sorry) 1. I am mentally bracing myself today, on this last day of April, for a very busy May. April was crazy busy, too, but May will be nuts. May seems to be the start of a very hectic summer for us, which will make it go quickly and that's a good thing for me. 2. I totally unloaded on Chris on Saturday night. Not in a good way. It was like mean, crazy, hormonal devil-wife became unhinged. To be fair to me, the devil-wife, he had been pushing every single one of my buttons for about 28 hours (but who's counting). It was unintentional, but button pushing nonetheless. Instead of just telling him about the button pushing, I sent him a very mean text and then felt like crap. So I apologized but still felt like crap. He was very gracious about it and even apologized for the button pushing and now all is right in the world again. 3. After feeling so mean, I made a vow to do something nice for someone every single day this week. On Saturday I called a friend who I hadn't talked to in a long time who has had a lot of really heavy things on her plate lately, just to chat. We had a really nice talk and it felt great to re-connect. Yesterday I would have done something nice but I had a horrific migraine and puked and slept by turn all afternoon and evening. Today I helped out in Sydney's preschool class when one of the teacher's was sick, and that was a lot of fun. I wanted to do something nice for Chris so I decided to mow the lawn. I should say, I tried to mow the lawn. I hauled it out and couldn't get the darn thing started. So much for that one. 4. Savannah is getting so grown up these days. She is almost 21 months! She is invited to a birthday party this weekend for one of her friends who is turning two! And in a few months, it will be her second birthday party? How did this happen? 5. I love the show The Big Bang theory. Sheldon makes me laugh so hard and Chris and I take every opportunity these days to say, "Bazinga!"

1) I adore this post.
2) Sorry you had a mean wife button pushing husband moment(s). How lovely that when even you feel like you handled it wrong, your husband responded with grace. This makes my heart smile.
3)I soooo hope to see you and your lovely girls at the party! It must must must happen!
4) Migraine and puking = sad and miserable. So sorry friend.
5) Oh Em Gee. So in love with Big Bang Theory. I just discovered it a few months back when they started the TBS syndication. I NEED the entire series thus far on dvd. NEED.
6) My numbers do not coordinate with yours whatsoever. In case you were wondering if that was my intention. It was not. ;)
