Last year when Sydney had her mermaid party she told me when she turned 7 she wanted a Duck cheerleader party with a real Duck cheerleader. I was really excited to plan this party and thankfully I already had a lot of Duck decorations. I have to say of all her parties, this one had my favorite activity. The girls had so much fun learning cheers from a real cheerleader!
I was really happy with how my feature table turned out. The background with the large O and the balloons framing the table just made it perfect.
You know I love the details in parties, I think they make all the difference.

This was the second year I made Sydney's cake. I love making the birthday cake, I feel like it's so special to do that. I made the cake and the pennant banner and then I ordered the little fondant cheerleader. I love how she turned out, I asked the lady who made her to include a little Nike swoosh on her uniform like the real cheerleaders! I also asked her to make the cheerleader modest and not have any tummy showing. So she made a completely age appropriate cheerleader for a 7 year old!
I made the layers of the cake green and yellow, too. So fun and so easy.
Such a fun, fun day and birthday party! I loved the theme and the girls had so much fun with the activities. It is always so special for me to plan a fun day to honor my girls. Sydney had so much fun and her little friends are still talking about how great her party was. Sydney already has next year's party themed picked out so I'm already busy planning for 8!
