Crisp and Cold

We have been having really cold, crisp winter days lately.  I LOO-OO-OOVE it.  I do not like the heat and anything over 60 degrees is sweltering to me, so this is my best season!  We've had tons of rain and storms, but in the middle we've had a few cold, clear days.  One of these days happened to fall on a weekend so Chris and I bundled up the girls and walked to the park.

Sweet Sydney.  How is it possible she is almost 6 years old?  I remember when she was tiny and bald and now she's sassy, tall, and has all that long hair.  Time is going by way too fast.

On another bitterly cold day Savannah and I were hanging out and having a lazy morning at home while Sydney was at school.  I say lazy, but I was doing lots of housework and we were having good snuggle time and I lost track of time.  Before I knew it, we had to leave to get to the bus stop for Sydney and I hadn't dressed Savannah yet.
Yep, I was that mom.  For the first, and last, time this year, I had to whisk Savannah to the bus stop in her jammies, rain boots, coat, and hat.  Poor baby.  She had no idea and certainly didn't care, but I felt bad.

Yesterday there was a break in the rain storm we've been going through so we got our Christmas tree.  We had so much and even though you can't really tell in this picture, our tree is so pretty!  I'll post pictures of it soon.
