Holiday Merriment

The girls and I got to go to a girls only church event to decorate gingerbread houses.  It was a lot of fun!  Everyone brought lots of different candies and we spend a few hours constructing and eating.

I like the little family of gingerbread marshmallows and the peppermint licorice tree in the front yard.
I realize that Sydney looks stoned absolutely thrilled in this picture.  I'm not sure why because she was having a ton of fun, I think I just caught her before she had her full smile ready for the camera!

We also went for our annual visit with Santa.  I think this might be our last year with a "crying on Santa's lap" photo because next year Savannah probably won't be as scared of him as she is now.  Honestly, it makes me kind of sad!  Not that I want her to be scared or sad or anything, but oh my gosh, who doesn't love pictures like these?

Poor Savannah!  She was literally on his lap for a maximum of 6 seconds, and she was waving goodbye to him at the end of the night, but she did not want to sit on his lap!  Sydney, on the other hand, was happy as could be!  I love her smile in these pictures.
I hope you're all having fun getting ready for Christmas!

We haven't seen Santa yet this year, but I'm not convinced that Natalie will be without tears - we'll see. So, you may have one more year of tears! I love the girls' dresses, so festive!!!
