The Nativity

I'm sure that when we think of the nativity we all think the same thing:

The sweet serenity of the holy family, the birth of our King and Messiah, and memories from childhood of Christmas pageants, lawn nativities, and Christmas memories.  From now on when I think of the nativity, however, I will chuckle and picture what I found yesterday.  Both girls were playing so nicely together putting together their own little play nativity set.  Keep in mind that they have two little kid nativity sets, but they decided to come up with their own.  I had to try really hard not to laugh when I saw this:
There's Mary and Farmer John with their baby Jesus sheep in their stable.  And who is that visiting to bring gifts to the Christ child?
Why it's Tinkerbelle and her cow, who arrived in their triple trailer John Deere.  And instead of Wise Men we have Buzz Lightyear, Cinderella, and Snow White who have brought gifts of Scary Spice and a thermometer.  And who needs a Christmas star when you have a bright yellow teacup?

Oh.My.Goodness.  Absolutely priceless!  And they were so proud of themselves!  Listening to them act out the traditional nativity story with their improvised characters were too funny.

So cute! They're obviously paying attention and learning, (even though its displayed in their own way)doesn't it make you so proud to know that they're learning this at such an early age?!

Just curious, how did a Buzz and John Deer tractor & farmer end up at your house?!
