Catch My Party

A few weeks ago, on December 30th, I was absolutely thrilled to get an email from my favorite party website, Catch My Party, telling me that Sydney's 6th birthday party was one of the featured parties of the day on their website!  Every day they have three parties of the day and Sydney's party was one of them!  I realize that in the grand scheme of things this isn't a big deal.  And it's not like I have party business where I could promote the fact that one of my parties had been featured on a national website.  But still, ONE OF MY PARTIES GOT FEATURED ON A NATIONAL PARTY WEBSITE!  Needless to say, I was pretty much unbearable for the rest of the day.  I had perma-grin and I couldn't stop talking about it to poor Chris.  Actually, Chris was super excited for me.  He knows how much I love parties and it was just what I needed in this busy, stressful, emotional season of my life.  They even sent me a blog button so I could proudly advertise that I was featured on their website.  Check it out!  The button is in the right hand column, underneath the list of blogs I follow.

I'm off to go do another happy dance, I still can't believe it was picked out of all their daily party submissions!  I think it should count as one of my acts of kindness that I didn't call everyone I know to brag about it.
