Happy New Year from the Wills Family!
Despite my hatred for the month of January, I am really loving the feel of a fresh, new start this year. This year I feel excited for the possibilities of 2013. I always tend to make the same resolution each and every year: to be more organzied. I choose this every year because it's something I'm already good at, but there is always room for improvement. Every January I organize my junk drawer, pantry, toy area, etc. and it generally stays pretty well organized throughout the year but it's always ready for a spruce up in the new year. This year I'm also adding my master bedroom to the list. There's no way I'd be able to stick to other resolutions, like working out (AS IF!) or giving up coffee (bah!). However, I thought I'd change it up for my resolution this year. I am still pledging to be more organized, but this year I am pledging to do 26 acts of kindness in honor of the victims in Connecticut. I have seen some people online doing this and I think it's a great idea. And because I love to toot my own horn, I'm going to tell you about them as I do them (in all reality, it makes me cringe to think of "tooting my own horn" but I hope that by sharing my stories, it may inspire some of you to do something kind as well.)
So, without further ado, here is Act of Kindness #1:

Resolutions
This is my friend Kelli's new baby, a girl named Quinn. Let me just allow you to take a moment to absorb the cuteness while I indulge in some baby talk.
Look at that wittle bitty baby wif da cutie patootie cheeks! Don't you just want to squeeze and munch those wittle baby cheeks?! And the nose...the wittle baby nose, I could just pinch it all day! Who's a cute baby? Who's a cute baby?
Ahem.
I'm done now. But oh my gosh, isn't she so cute?! And this picture was at one day old, look how alert she is! Anyway, for my first act of kindness I took my friend Kelli dinner the other night. This isn't a huge stretch for me, I take dinner to everyone who has a baby, it's kind of my thing, but it totally counts for one of my 26 acts of kindness! I took them chicken and dumplings and got to get in some cute newborn snuggles.
Some cute wittle baby snuggles! Look at the cheeks, I could just eat you right up! I might just eat you right up!
Sorry, I just literally can't help myself.
Stay tuned for Act of Kindness #2!
