Happy Valentine's Day!!

I love Valentine's Day. A day of love and pink and red and hearts and in our case, cookies. V-Day seems to be the day of cookies at our house and there are no complaints here. Every year my mom gets us personalized V-Day cookies from my favorite bakery. I love getting pictures of the girls with their cookies.

Remember that post a few weeks ago about how challenging it is to get a picture with two children? Case in point, today's cookie pictures.



So then I thought, I'll just get individual ones of them with their name cookies. Foolish thought, I know. Here is Sydney, cute as can be, posing with her cookie.

And sweet little Savannah, I could NOT a get a picture of her with her cookie! She was determined to take a bite of that thing and this is the best I got.

Oh well, they are so cute anyway! Every V-Day we also make sugar cookies from a very tasty recipe from one of my friends. Sydney is getting so grown up and can frost cookies pretty well.

Not bad for a five year old I think.
