I know that it's national craft month and I've been posting lots of craft pictures, but it's also my birthday month and I wanted to share with you the chocolate cake I made. I saw on a recent Pioneer Woman where she made this 4 layer chocolate cake for her husband's birthday and I decided to give it a try. Her's was a lot prettier than mine, but here it is:
Yum...And I covered with chocolate curls, also a Pioneer Woman recipe and super easy.
I had a little helper to help me with the frosting. She wanted to beat her own (pretend) frosting, too.
I have to admit, after I made it I put it in the fridge to set a little and I kept opening the door because it looked so amazing and made my fridge smell heavenly. Doesn't it look good in there, right next to my Velveeta?

Love it "right next to the velveeta"! Hee hee hee. Enjoy--it looks delicious, Dena
I could go for a piece of this right now! You are brave to try a four layer cake, the most I have ever attempted is just a plain old box cake..LOL
Thanks for posting pictures of this delicious looking cake during Lent when I can't eat it. Jerk.
Just kidding. No really though, it looks delicious!!!!!!!! Hope you had a wonderful birthday!!
