Chocolate Cake

I know that it's national craft month and I've been posting lots of craft pictures, but it's also my birthday month and I wanted to share with you the chocolate cake I made. I saw on a recent Pioneer Woman where she made this 4 layer chocolate cake for her husband's birthday and I decided to give it a try. Her's was a lot prettier than mine, but here it is:

Yum...And I covered with chocolate curls, also a Pioneer Woman recipe and super easy.

I had a little helper to help me with the frosting. She wanted to beat her own (pretend) frosting, too.

I have to admit, after I made it I put it in the fridge to set a little and I kept opening the door because it looked so amazing and made my fridge smell heavenly. Doesn't it look good in there, right next to my Velveeta?

I could go for a piece of this right now! You are brave to try a four layer cake, the most I have ever attempted is just a plain old box cake..LOL
