Washi Tape

A few weeks ago Jennifer over at Delightfully Noted posted a blog about Washi tape. This is a Japanese tape that is extremely forgiving, which is great for crafting. It's fairly cheap and comes in lots of different colors and patterns. It looked like fun so I decided to give it a try. I picked up a pretty plain white pitcher from Target (or Tar-jay as we call it here). I wanted to make a spring/summer decoration, so I chose a mix of bright and pastel colors. I started out by cutting a long strip in half and layering it on the pitcher.

Then I started cutting pennant shapes out of the pretty colors and placing them on.

The Washi tape is awesome because if you mess up, you just peel it and it comes right off. It sticks really well, but comes right off when you need it to.

I absolutely love how it turned out! And if I ever want to change it, I can just peel it all off and put something new on. Love it!

My favorite view.

Thanks, Jennifer, for the inspiration!
