The Cake

The cake is one of the best parts about any first birthday! One of my co-workers makes amazing cakes and she made this same cake when I was pregnant with Savannah. When I saw that cake, I instantly knew I would do birds for a first birthday party. It was so cute! Here it is:

I love it so much! Don't you love my cake stand, too? I love that thing. I love that you can weave some ribbon in it and it matches any party color.


Savannah certainly did great with her smash cakes! Here she is at the first party before the cake.



She really got into it!



And here she is after! Ha! What a mess.



I had my co-worker make the same cake for both parties. Here it is at the second one.




By the second party she really had this cake thing down!
