Day 5

Hello all! I am loving this countdown to my birthday. We went last night to the Melting Pot with Matt and Melissa and it was SO NICE to have a fantastic meal and adult conversation. We haven't been there in two years. We went for my 28th birthday with them when Melissa was pregnant with the twins. Day 5 brings five golden rings, which represent the pentateuch, or the first five books of the Bible. I love reading Genesis, it's so full of amazing stories. Genesis is also the name of the orientation weekend at George Fox. I met some amazing friends at my Genesis weekend, and we are still friends today. Golden rings makes me think, of course, of my wedding ring. Which isn't actually gold, but white gold. Chris picked it out himself and I LOVE it. It is exactly what I would have picked out for myself. Chris proposed January 22, 2005 at Autzen Stadium. It was perfect! I am so thankful for my husband a million times each day. He is an amazing daddy, too. I love you Chris!
