Milestones

The last few days have been pretty busy around here, and as the month progresses it won't slow down at all! Both of the girls have had some important milestones. We recently gave Savannah her first rice cereal! She was so cute about it. She got really quiet and almost somber, and didn't make hardly any mess at all!

"Come on, mom, I'm so hungry I have to eat my hands."

It's a success!


Yesterday Sydney got to celebrate her birthday at school. It's always fun to celebrate a birthday, but I got to go into the classroom and take in a special treat of Sydney's choosing. I had never seen her participating in preschool before, and it was fun to see her interract with the teachers and the other students.


She got to bring something in for show and tell.


They sang a special birthday song, too. The birthday girl got to wear a birthday hat and the entire class held hands and walked in circle around four students that Sydeny chose to be "candles." Then at the end, they "blow" on the candles, which made everyone laugh! Of course Sydney chose Madison to be one of her candles!



When I asked Sydney last week what kind of cupcakes she wanted to order, I suggested pink or sprinkles. She immediately chose, without any suggestions or pressure from me, green and yellow Duck cupcakes! That's my girl!
