What A Trooper

I know I missed my daily blogging yesterday, but I had a good excuse:


Yep, that's my Sydney, with a broken elbow. She was horsing around last night and fell and landed wrong, hyperextending her elbow. Here she is in x-ray...


...where the tech was not happy with me for taking this picture. Sorry, buddy, but I can't help it! I have to record these moments in my daughter's life, and what kind of blogger mom would I be if I didn't share them with you, my faithful readers? She thought the lead apron she had to wear was pretty funny, like a strange, heavy, dress-up dress. I also had my mom snap this one of her getting her first ever blood pressure.



While we were waiting for her soft cast to be put on, Sydney just chilled and watched Taylor Swift videos on the Ipod.

She is already trying to decide what color of cast to get next week. She is doing well, it's hard for her to do basic things with the sling on, so hopefully the cast can come on soon and we can ditch the sling. She was such a brave girl during the whole ordeal, I am so proud of her!
