Turkey Tidbits

Ok, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, "Enough with the sentimental, mushy posts, put up some pictures!" Well just for you, here are some pictures. You're welcome.
Here was my table for Thanksgiving. I didn't go all out, or even out that far, for our small little Thanksgiving on the actual day, but when my grandparents came for the celebration on Saturday, I felt it was worth busting out the china. Here was the place setting.

And this was my trifle bowl cranberry centerpiece, thank you Emily Johns for the idea. It looks like it's floating, but there is a stand underneath that bowl.

And now onto some cute kiddo pictures. During the dinner, we let Savannah have her first few bits of "real food." We fingered in some very well mashed sweet potatoes, and she loved them! I know you're supposed to do cereal first for babies, but we just did three little finger dips into the sweet potatoes, which would probably be the next food after rice cereal anyway.

She was smacking her lips, she just loved it! I can't wait to try cereal and baby food with her, I think she'll take to it much easier than Sydney did.

Love the centerpiece! We don't have any china....didn't register for it because I thought it would be too expensive for people to buy. Maybe someday. :)
